A bed for the relaxation of our furry friends designed for animal lovers who like to travel comfortably but also in style. Berberé features a solid structure and uncluttered lines. In designing it, Raffaella Mangiarotti drew inspiration from camping beds and created a manual interlocking system without using screws or glue which makes the bed easy to assemble and disassemble, and especially to store in its bag for easy transportation.
Complementing the structure, the washable, double-sided and two-colour padded mattress ensures greater comfort while enhancing the product’s aesthetics.
Like the mix of spices that gives this dog bed its name, Berberé has a strong personality, a nomadic spirit, and rejects all stylistic constraints. Thanks to a contemporary design and essential palette of colours – natural leather not only black – Berberé recreates the feeling of home for our furry friends anywhere, and blends in perfectly with any environment.

Raffaella Mangiarotti is an architect and designer. Born in Genoa, she lives and works in Milan. She graduated with honours in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Professor Tomás Maldonado, and obtained a PhD in Environmental design in 1994. After collaborating with Marco Zanuso and Francesco Trabucco, she established her own practice by designing innovative products for leading multinational companies including Whirlpool, Smeg, NEC, Panasonic, Nestlé, Mercedes Benz. Over the years she has specialized in furniture and creative direction and overseen important projects for various brands in the design field.
In the course of her career she has won some of the world's leading design awards. Her works have been displayed in several museums, in both group and solo exhibitions. Some of her designs have become part of permanent collections, including the MoMA in New York.
