European ODR Platform
In the event of a dispute between a seller and a consumer, the latter is entitled to resolve it by accessing the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (the European ODR Platform).
The European ODR Platform is developed and managed by the European Commission, pursuant to Directive 2013/11/EU and to Regulation (EU) no. 524/2013. Its purpose is promoting an independent, impartial, transparent, effective, rapid and fair out-of-court resolution of disputes concerning contractual obligations resulting from sales or online services contracts between a consumer resident in the European Union and a professional entity based in the European Union. The European ODR Platform envisages the intervention of an ADR (alternative dispute resolution) body participating in the program, that can be selected from a special list available on the platform.
