Seating - design Marcello Ziliani

€ 1.119,00

Stackable chair with frame in die-cast aluminium and steel sled base with armrests. Gold leaf finish for the frame, 24 k gold finish for the base.
Mammamia Sled is the last born of Mammamia, the seating collection designed by Marcello Ziliani. It is an increasingly large family of seats that challenges the headcount of combinations by presenting infinite variations. In this last version the thin and attractive legs, which are one of the chair's distinctive traits, are transformed into a more stable sledge frame to be suitable even the most refined environments. For residential and contract spaces, Mammamia Sled will stand out for its elegance combined with maximum comfort.
Varnished or covered with light sheet, cladded with finish that recalls materials or upholstered, there are many variations of Mammamia Sled.
Total gold version will impress you with its timeless elegance and it will be able to feel at ease in any space from the most traditional to those where contemporaneity is a must.

Marcello Ziliani

Marcello Ziliani was born in Brescia in 1963 under the sign of Pisces.

He graduated in architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 1988 with Achille Castiglioni as speaker (and teacher unmatched).

After three years abroad, he returned to Italy and he devoted himself mainly to developing projects for the design of furniture, complement, lighting, bathroom, office, objects and early childhood, working in addition to exhibitions, theatrical scenographer, art direction, design coordination, graphics and communication.

He doesn’t like the absolutism and the indestructible certainties, he loves to look at things with always different eyes to be in tune with them, he prefers to speak softly and, above all, listen.

He believes that any project is, after all, a desire, a hope of flight and he trust that, despite the great run you can do waving your arms uselessly, sooner or later everyone can have his own ten meters of gliding.

Like “more or less” all the designers he put aside the minimum necessary equipment of prizes and awards, he served on juries, he took part in exhibitions and he has been giving lectures and workshops.

He has been a professor of product design at the University of San Marino / IUAV since 2011.
